"Soundtrack of my life" Painting

Jenna Myllykoski is a mixed media and sand artist from Finland. Jenna's aim is to capture the raw essence and the captivating, sometimes chaotic beauty of nature and space. Jenna loves to experiment and discover ways to create new surface textures and marks. She has created her own recognisable, rock-hard sand-based texture paste and technique. She loves surrendering to her intuition and letting the materials and movement take her on an almost meditative journey, where each layer guides her to the next one until all the pieces come together in the end. This process of transformation is something that Jenna finds endlessly inspiring - it is food for her curiosity. Jenna is a dreamer by nature. In the crazy and hectic world of today, painting is her way to simultaneously lose herself in a far away dreamland, and to focus on the moment. A way to escape - or to return to whom she always was.
