Sparrow Hawk Painting

I learned to draw as a child; my teacher was my sister. I studied some art in college but was a biology major; this has influenced my work. My husband is a retired environmentalist and together we have traveled throughout Florida and the Caribbean. The beauty and intricacy of nature never ceases to fascinate and provides an endless inspiration for my work. I have also studied music and use this as an inspiration for my work. I have two cds of original music on and also wrote the score to the award-winning documentary "A Mass of Wine." I have also written and am currently editing as well as illustrating, and composing the music to an original fantasy novel about the oceans. More of my work can be seen at .
