Spring Meadow Lupine Garden Painting

In the deep spring when the grass was green on fields and foothills, when the lupines made a splendid blue and gold earth, when the great trees awakened in yellow-green young leaves, then there was no more lovely place in the world. It was no beauty you could ignore by being used to it. It caught you in the throat in the morning and made a pain of pleasure in the pit of your stomach when the sun went down over it. - John Steinbeck A little attempt to make this world more beautiful by growing these gardens on my canvases. This time the inspiration comes from my own garden and walk in my surrounding. The palette knife strokes and layers of various texture mixed with colours create an intricate pattern and textures, mimicking the complexity of a lupine spring garden. Its difficult to capture shades of greens and images doesn't do justice, and its more beautiful in real life. Sides are painted/extended as part of the painting and it is painted on 4 cm thick gallery wrapped canvas. one canvas is 60 Wx80 L cm and all together is 80 Lx 120 W cm.
