Inspired by Feliks Topolski and a range of abstracted architectural artists, my distorted St.Pauls offers a darker gothic vision of lockdown in 2021. As in WW2, St.Pauls remained standing through utter destruction. The glimmers of red and white figures below bringing small hope from the ground. The more you look the more the structural definition appears from the many layers below. Acrylic was chosen as the painting featured many layers below. I'm also happiest working fast.
