About The Artwork
This acrylic painting on paper is 20" x 16". It is sold in a display mat that is 28" x 23" which is about the size it will be when you mat and frame it. It is painted on 300lb. Arches buff printmaking paper. I'm inspired by mid-century modern style and design, architecture and fabrics. Artist's like Calder and László Moholy-Nagy are influential to my work. As does atomic bark cloth and interiors from the 1950's. Transparency and texture play a role in this work.
