Still Life No.161 is inspired by the gorgeous dahlias my friend grows in their garden each year. I love the seemingly endless layers of petals. Pictured here in a seventies inspired, geometric vase for the perfect dose of nostalgia. This piece has been created using quality, lightfast, artist quality acrylic paints as well as many hours of dreaming and planning! Finished using a satin varnish which has a very slight sheen. Framed using sustainably sourced VIC Ash, it has a wire attached so is ready to unpack and hang! Artwork dimensions: 81cm (W) x 107cm (H) x 3.8cm (D) With frame: 85cm (W) x 111cm (H) x 5cm (D)
