Still Life With Mass - Stereoscopic Painting Painting

This is a stereoscopic pair of paintings, one for the left eye and one for the right. They can be viewed on the wall using the cross-eye free view stereo method. The image on this page is laid out for cross-eye viewing; if you use the parallel viewing technique the depth will be inverted. I've also included an anaglyph preview which can be viewed with red+blue glasses. The underpainting is blue tinted gum bichromate from photographic negatives. These were produced as mono prints, then hand-painted overpainting with watercolor, gauche, and acrylic. There is some airbrushing around the highlights. The image sizes are 14 x 20 inches centered on 18 x 24 inch Strathmore watercolor paper. On framing, a slightly smaller matte should be used to allow for some adjustment to the stereo alignment.
