This painting is part of a series about The Transformation of the Vulnerability of Our Emotions, the poet Mary Oliver wrote: Someone I loved give me a Box full of Darkness. it took me years to understand that this too is a gift. In painting there is the possibility of feelings that keep recurring in our minds, for which we seem to have no solution, to descend into emotional depths that we have never known before and to transform these feelings into something beautiful. Suddenly it seems like every line can represent the curves and swings of our lives. in a darkness we can suddenly discover a color or a light. the pictures are all made with acrylic paint and partly pastel chalk, there are always several layers in which to work, the line organizes, the line shows the way. it often takes several sessions for the picture to emerge. the pictures all have one format and they are all very personal works the colors change from soft pink and light blue to strong green and violet, the style is dynamic gestures. The viewer has the opportunity to discover his own emotions or to create new ones.

When I paint, I can leave everything where it belongs: joy, sadness, love, doubt and fear. (Ines Klich) Ines Klich is a passionate painter who, in her work, transfers and processes some of her emotional experiences onto the canvas. For her, the creative process is of great importance and emotional intensity. She loves to discover new depths in lines and structures and creates large, lively works full of energy and emotion. Her wish is that her pictures touch the viewer and evoke his/her own emotions. Ines Klich began her artistic path, inspired by abstract expressionism and great role models such as Cy Twombley, Martha Jungwirth and Joan Mitchell. Initially, she devoted herself entirely to this style in order to explore the emotional depths and energetic expressions of this intuitive style of painting in her own works. Later, she decided to further deepen her skills and artistic understanding and began studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kolbermoor. There she expanded her repertoire and also devoted herself intensively to portrait painting. This academic training enabled her to refine her techniques and further develop her understanding of form and structure, which gave her work additional dimensions. Ines Klich has been a freelance artist since 2014 and runs a studio and an artist gallery in Emsdetten.
