ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The painting was inspired by the Women's March on Washington the day after Inauguration Day 2017. I used flowing lines and bright colors because I wanted it to be celebratory, red showing the strength of unity. The multi colors showing the diversity of the entire country. I want people to feel empowered, pride and hope.
