ABOUT THE ARTWORK

A continuation of my "Window" series, which uses cross-stitch techniques to pixelate the original image. The series highlights our hazy recollection of past experiences as shapes and colors. Embroidery is created by hand, directly onto the postcard, using French cotton embroidery thread. The vintage postcard features the strandbad in Interlaken, Switzerland. The vintage postcard measures about 3.5"x5.5" and is unframed. Piece will be signed and dated on the back.
