ABOUT THE ARTWORK
A result of several experiments using thread, some folklore influences, finding their strength within a minimalistic canvas. This composition has only made use of plextol, a hardener, maintaining the linnen's natural colour, and white paint and gesso. The threads colours are bordeaux red and firery red as well as a broken white thread. The strength of the painting lies in its subtlety, and this particular work came to life when I was seeking to make myself a painting that would bring light and at the same time blend into the walls.
