We are Pia & Sean Red. We are self-taught abstract artists based out of Bay Area, California. We collaborate and create together abstract paintings, photographs, and mixed media sculptures. We spend a lot of our time together in nature hiking or mountain biking with our dog, Jake. That is when we have got the inspirations & ideas for many of our artwork. Most of our paintings are created with overlapping layers that are blended in by scraping & glazing to build up the intended texture. For us, the spirit of experimentation and joy of creating art is more important than the mastery of techniques or even the end result itself. We live by the motto: Live Creative! Live Wild!
