ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is a bright, vibrant painting of the plants in one corner of my painting studio. It includes several Pilea also known as Chinese money plants and several succulents. In the painting the plants are all arranged on the floor next to a large window that looks out onto a tree filled garden surrounded by buildings. I painted this during lockdown when Spring was in full effect and the trees outside were full of buds and new life.
