Rachel Dickson is an Austin, Texas based artist. She uses her educational background in psychology and years of formal art training to create pieces that use space, color, and composition to express emotion. Rachel uses grief and the vast array of emotions that it encompasses to tell abstract stories of life, love, and loss. After suffering extreme personal loss and becoming a mother overnight to a child whom had lost his biological mom, Rachel took to art as a form of therapy. Her pieces on grief are raw and showcase an intense gratitude for life.
