“Subtle Movements” is a 10 x 10 x 1.5 inch original monochromatic minimalist seascape oil painting. Painted with profession oils, including one of my personal favorites – Prussian Blue – on cotton canvas and hand-stretched over a wood frame.

The painting is sealed with a final coat of varnish for protection.
All sides are staple free, painted, and finished making it ready to hang.
Titled, signed and dated on the back.

This piece will be packed securely to insure its safe arrival and buyers will be provided with tracking information to keep an eye on its progress.

The Inspiration:
“Subtle Movements” is the epitome of my roots in art and as a painter. I’ve always had a wondering fascination for painting the sky, storms, and intense minimalist cloud/seascapes. Prussian blue, as I mentioned, is a color I am always eager to use in my work (dare I say, it may be my favorite). Its offers a base that never disappoints and always amazes my eye. It is intense, vibrant, and bold yet also dark and a little mysterious.

“My hope is not be seen, but be experienced. With each new piece I share a little part of myself and I look forward to the day it makes an honest, emotional connection with another.” -Meredith B.

A Brief Biography: Meredith is a self-taught oil and acrylic painter living in Zionsville, Indiana. While she has been creative and artistic her whole life, it wasn't till the beginning of 2015 that selling art became not just an idea, but a reality. She finds inspiration in everything around her; artists she admires, loved ones in her life, and the beautiful world she experiences through her travels and surrounding her every day. Her styles range from impressionist, modern and abstract with a special talent for commissioned work unique to individuals.

A brief biography: Meredith B. is a self-taught oil and acrylic painter who currently calls Indianapolis, Indiana home. While she was a casually artistic person her entire life, it wasn’t until 2015 that art became a more active pursuit. After facing the life changing diagnosis of Rheumatoid Arthritis and a chemotherapy treatment that would last indefinitely, painting was like a long-lost friend that Meredith found strength and comfort in. Now, with her disease under control, Meredith finds inspiration in every beautiful aspect of her life: loved ones, music, fellow artists she admires, and the cities she has experienced through traveling. Her work will consistently play on elements of motion and texture to invoke an emotional response from viewers. Her styles range from impressionist, modern and abstract with a special talent for commissioned work unique to individual needs. “My hope is not be seen, but be experienced. With each new piece I share a little part of myself and I look forward to the day it makes an honest, emotional connection with another.” -Meredith B.
