ABOUT THE ARTWORK
"Sum Of Parts", as the name suggests, is built up of a range of pleasing shapes that I have grouped and organised to create a balanced composition. It was inspired by mid century art and design, and incorporates a textured appearance to reflect the surface qualities found on the ceramic glazes and finishes of the era. The piece is created with acrylic paint on a smooth, wood panel, with painted sides. It is ready to frame or to hang as it is with the addition of hanging hardware. Signed, titled and dated on reverse.
