Summer: A Communion of Forces Painting

Two Egyptians present offerings to one another. The double helix that emerges from the center represents the pineal gland. The butterflies mimic the masculine and feminine nature that lives within us, i.e., estrogen and testosterone. The triangulation of lines in the top left symbolizes how we can only perceive love in known times. The infinite qualities remain unknown. While the Earth is in full bloom during the summer, it provides a backdrop to the idea of summer love. The circle containing the overlapping faces is slightly off-balance, indicating that the woman requires more space than the man. Her side is full of flora, wild growth. The man is more orderly and crowded with artifice. He is the harvester of the woman's development and offers it back to her in producing the refined and processed objects from nature. Ra, the bird under the circle, symbolizes the setting sun... It represents the goddess of the west, signifying the mortality of the people in the picture.  The physical exchange of resources between the couple can only exist in linear time. This painting is about creating relationships of living things that can only naturally survive in warm weather. The timing has to be suitable for a relationship to work, like finding love. Summer to fall, Transference. Summer projects itself into the cool air through rapid growth, and the flora becomes the fullest expression of itself.
