Summer garden Painting

I'm a contemporary artist working with acrylic and oil paints. I was born in Latvia in the city of Jurmala in 1973. I came to painting deliberately - as a space where I could listen to myself and express what can't always be said in wotrlds. In my work, I try to capture not objects, but feelings: peace, freedom, quiet strength. I'm drawn to bold colors and rich tones - they hold energy, emotion, and presence. Nature inspires me not in a literal sence, but as a source of inner states. Rivers, skies, fields, flowers and light appear in my paintings more as sensations than scenery. Each canvas is a way to pause, reflect, and feel something real. I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to my teacher Vladimir Kozin, whose guidance, support, and belief in me helped me find my own artistic voice. Thank you for inspiring me to see not just with my eyes, but with my heart.
