The winter was rather long and the Spring was cold this year. That's why I wanted to hasten Summer at least in my painting. I hope you can feel how hot the day is and how pleasant it is to stay in the shade of the trees near the river. It's the typical Russian landscape: birch trees, village at the edge of the forest and blue river.
The painting is covered with finishing varnish, not framed. I can make it framed and attach the wire according to the customer wish.

Hello, my name is Irina Nekrasova and I live and work in Moscow, Russia. I would like to express emotions things or people produce on me, but only positive ones. I’d rather not depict any social problems or depressing things. There is so much anguish and misery in the world that people, to my mind, need more positive emotions to be able to overcome hardships of the modern world. I have been inspired by many artists, modern ones and those of “the old school”, whose paintings I could admire in the museums of Europe and America. But painters of the Russian realist school of the 19th-century are my favorite ones. I tried accumulating many cultural traditions and integrate tradition and modern time to create my artworks. New trends are also interesting to me. I believe an artist should never stop learning and studying, and should always search for new methods and forms of expressing himself or herself. That’s why I don’t miss to visit galleries and museums, attend classes of contemporary highly professional painters, listen to lectures and read books on Art. Mostly I paint landscapes in oil and acrylic and I love to experiment with brushes and palette knives, with different media. I prefer to work on canvases of medium size: 40x50, 50x60, 50x70 and 60x80cm I participated in 5 local exhibitions in Moscow and 1 in Bulgaria (Burgas) and hope to be a participant of more representative and important exhibitions in future. Some of my works are included in private collections in Russia, Canada and the USA. I am proud to announce that this year I became a member of the Union of Russian artists.
