Originally a bardo is a phase of transition stemming from the Tibetan Book of the Dead used to explain the transition from a living state to death via transformation and transitioning, based on karma, to the stages of becoming and renewed differentiation. I use these ideas in a conceptual art manner to create compnions, guides, protectors to have with us as we experience crisis and health issues, as we ourselves transition to a new self, a new phase. Based on nature spirits in China believed to inhabit the roots of plants. I recommend that you place on your wall where you can easily see and meditate upon.
