Sunflower Painting

On the same day when I mentioned it to a friend, I shared and got to learn about sunflowers. My friend told me that they pull up from the earth everything that is toxic, and poisonous as they love nitrogen. Radiation led to them being the first thing to successfully grow in Chernobyl after the nuclear disaster in the 80's or 90's. At home, we have some growing in the garden, and they are just majestic. However one day I looked at them, and felt a bit alarmed as the center had been really pulled apart. My disgust became awe in the coming days when I saw a cardinal couple on the sunflower. Over the coming days I saw the couple perched on the flower sharing the seeds. It was lovely to experience nature doing its thang. I feel it was so timely as summer is about to arrive, and all of my hopes from this time last year are unfolding in what I feel is a choreographed synchronicity from above.
