ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I used in 7123 a lot of the "thin layers" technique, which makes the most of the specificities of the acrylic paint. Many thin layers are put after the one below has dried in order to built up the colour slowly, which layers also bring a deep sense of transparency. ........................................................... Before studying western art in Paris, Ayasaki honed ink wash painting in Japan for ten years. She then acquired her fundamental skill in interpreting nature's colors in black and white. Resorting to emotions is the best way to explore her abstract landscapes.
