My name is Nadya Volkova and my passion is to paint. I believe that I am an artist with diverse interests and abilities. I have created over 100 works of art that are in private collections in Russia and I am not going to stop. For me, painting is, first of all, about feelings. Style, art materials, colors, shapes are absolutely not important - they are nothing compared to the deep sensations that the artwork evokes. You look at a piece of art, and, behold, this is no longer just an image of the beach and the sea, but you yourself, your thoughts and memories, a feeling of harmony and warmth inside, and maybe a note of sadness. Painting is like a melody that takes you back to the events of your past or takes you into magical dreams. Like the fragrance of your favorite perfume, it reminds you the happiest moments of life. It is beyond the control of the brain and understanding, it is at the level of feelings and instincts, deeply imprinted in the subconscious. It is very important for me that each of my artwork evokes feelings and emotions, that the collector has a mental connection with his painting, so that, looking at the paint strokes, every cell of the body comes to life. During my long career I have tried many genres and applied arts and I am still in search of my style, and I will be in search for the rest of my days. But the most important thing for me is that only creation makes us harmonious and helps to find true happiness within ourselves. And for me it will be the greatest happiness if my work brings everyone a little closer to this state.
