Sunshine in my pocket 2 by Lana Alsamir-Diamond _I am forever dreaming of Palms and arches, the restraint needed to create my more minimal works sometimes gently gives way to equally minimal but more figurative works, the Architecture of the Greek Islands and memories of star gazing under towering mediterranean palm trees, are a constant in my work. Moons are also a constant in my work, if you have ever watched the moon as religiously as I do, you would know that the moon has so many faces, my fascination started when I used it as a constant presence in my more figurative works, and I slowly became fascinated by the shape and the possibilities it offered to my work, it grew from a representation of the moon to a recurring motif.
