Sunshine in my pocket 3 by Lana Alsamir-Diamond - Take the sunshine with you wherever you go.  "This to me is the winter sun, the sun shining and peaking through on a dark day, literally or figuratively" this work is part of a series, please see other works listed. I am constantly dreaming of faraway places, the restraint needed to create my more minimal works sometimes gently gives way to equally minimal but more figurative works, the Architecture of the Greek Islands and memories of star gazing under towering mediterranean palm trees, are a constant in my work. Alsamir-Diamond's love of the moon in it's many faces is apparent in her work, they are a recurring motif, it has a constant presence in her work, "It offers my landscapes a familiarity a warmth" the artist feels.  Original artwork: Acrylic, Gouache and Ink on hand made cotton paper, with deckled edges in natural colour.  Colours Blue, Peach, Maroon, Green,Tan, Black and Yellow.
