Jan (Wierden 1948). In the beginning he painted how it was teached, in a realistic and impressionistic way. Bit by bit the landscapes lost their horizons and their structure of creating space. More an more his work became expressionistic and abstract. Music, especially classical music is a big source of inspiration. Nowadays he is painting a serie with 'Fantasy Landscapes' so the horizon is back! Jan won together with his partner Laura Rominu the third price in AIAF, the international Art Fair in Amsterdam.
