Luminous islets dot the landscape, like thin stalactites of light plunging into cosmic abysses. For this unusually vertical format, I chose the oil technique that allowed me to create finer and more controllable grouts than acrylic ones. The image presents in an abstract way a port view that suggests a human presence, this presence sometimes insinuates in my paintings without my knowledge during the process of creation. This is a certain ambivalence linked to my vision of a utopian world, one in which nature alone would suffice to satisfy me, human beings remaining an option and not an obligation in the exchange with the other. https://youtu.be/cp6JomIF9Ww
