I was inspired by a song by Leonard Cohen and I set the scene in a room where the singer-songwriter is portrayed on the left and inside a small bathtub, while in the foreground there is Suzanne, with dreamy look and broken socks, but composed like Monnalisa, behind her a painting by Chagal "Double portrait with glass and red wine", from which an angel flies above in a trail to the left.

I, FIGURE PAINTER The interest in figure painting emerged in my works starting from the choice to attend the course of Goffredo Trovarelli, the most traditional teacher of the Florentine Academy, which led me to paint posed models from life. After a parenthesis of Kleeian suggestions in the years 2006/2010, I recovered the figure in its plastic values in reference to characters and events in history, politics, news and the media in general.
