About The Artwork

This painting is an art therapy painting that presents happy and sweet energy of love and happiness. _ The unconscious series is a painting that expresses strong inspiration through very spontaneous movements in an unconscious state. My work process is largely divided into two parts, improvisation work and planning work. The improvisational work expresses the work by moving the body along the flow line of inspiration and energy spontaneously when inspiration and mental energy are felt. In order to completely exclude the conscious process and focus on the completely unconscious flow, I draw in a state of dreaming. It is like a highly meditation state, so it relaxes my body and mind and makes me feel the joy of experiencing the world of the collective unconscious.

I am a contemporary artist who draws an unconscious world through abstraction. My view of art is to believe that painting can heal the mind and soul, so I try psychological healing art. ____ Q. When did you first discover art, or realise you wanted to make it yourself? I started drawing in kindergarten, I received an award at the National Kindergarten Student Competition. Full-fledged visual art activities began with digital art while majoring in visual design at university. Through my master's degree in psychological counseling & coaching at graduate school, I opened my eyes to non-visual art at a transcendental level beyond vision and consciousness, and I entered the true art world inside me that can be connected to everyone with my soul. At the age of 20 to 30, I did digital artworks, and after I was 40, I had a passion to do art that breaks boundaries like pop art or abstract painting, so I started painting in 2020. The reason why I decided to draw what I met and discovered in the true art world is that I had a deep mental sharing experience with clients while studying "participatory mysteries" during my master's course in psychological counseling, and realized that this unconscious mysterious participation experience was similar to that of the art world. Therefore, I discovered the possibility that the person who sees my painting indirectly experiences healing through unconscious communication, and that the transfer of emotions could be achieved through the communion experience of the participatory mental world. So I wanted to convey the feelings of happiness and love, which are the themes of my painting, in an unconscious way of Psychological transformation. Finally, when I became sensitive to psychology and spirituality, I started attempting to truly meet, discover, and capture the unconscious world on canvas. My art is to infuse someone nonverbal with the power of the mind and the energy of life, vitality, vividness, hope and love, happiness and energy of change. The path to finding a way to communicate and transcend relations through art is my work process.
