ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I was inspired to create this piece because of the many cats I had through out the years. They sleep through whatever weather. It is a reminder that we can take the simplest things for granted such as our health. We do lead busy lives and it would be great to remember to slow down and enjoy the small things in life, even if that includes snoozing on a tranquil almost untouched private beach with cool calming breeze blowing about you. It is hoped that the viewer will feel calm and at peace from this work of art. Acrylic is a very versatile medium and i chose this because I wanted a vibrant color to make the perceived natural beauty pop with life. Acrylic on 11x14 canvas panel Portrait
