ABOUT THE ARTWORK
On the 4th of October 2013 I was walking along Watsons Bay and found Sydney harbor filled with war ships, hundreds of small boats and plains flying in formations, doing stunts in the air. It happened to be the marking of 100 years since the Royal Australian Navy fleet first entered the waterway. After doing a few sketches of the harbor, I went over to my friend David Asher Brooks art studio in Bondi and started this painting.
