Born 1956 .ACADEMY of FINE ART in Warsaw. Specializes in contemporary art Marius was born in 1956 and began his career as a painter very early, immediately after completing four years of study at l'Ecole des Beaux Arts . His pictorial technique already revealed a remarkable eclecticism of styles. Contemporary paintings that one sees displayed in galleries are generally pastiches inspired by the great masters of the genre and of only minor interest, even if pleasing to the eye. The situation is quite different for the works of Marius Zabinski, which reveal an individual personality that cannot be compared to those of any other artist. He himself has become a reference in the genre. The existence of a large number of connoisseurs and knowledgeable amateurs who appreciate and collect his work is proof that Marius will emerge as a recognized master in the future.Marius Zabinski practices what one might call an elegant geometrization. Despite the decomposition of forms, the subject remains perfectly recognizable, thereby creating a sort of bridge between tangible reality and geometric abstraction. One of the most striking characteristics of his work is his treatment of texture. His canvases often have a "sculpted" appearance, where surfaces seem to be made of stone, metal, or precious wood. To enhance these materials, he uses a theatrical light reminiscent of the masters of the Renaissance or the Baroque. This light hits the sharp angles of his compositions, creating a dramatic contrast that gives his works relief and an almost three-dimensional depth. Zabinski does not settle for merely painting shapes; he establishes a true atmosphere. By stripping his subjects of anecdotal details to keep only their structural essence, he makes his paintings timeless. One finds in them a certain nostalgia for order and aesthetic rigor. In summary, Marius Zabinski is a virtuoso of form who succeeds in making geometric rigor poetic. His work is a celebration of pictorial construction, where every line and every shadow is calculated with quasi-architectural precision. Marius Zabinski pratique ce que l'on pourrait appeler une géométrisation élégante. Malgré la décomposition des formes, le sujet reste parfaitement reconnaissable, créant ainsi une sorte de pont entre la réalité tangible et l'abstraction géométrique.
