Taita Chimborazo Painting

Art has always held a special place in my heart, but my true artistic journey began at the age of 13 in 1998. Following a car accident that left me confined to bed with a broken leg and an abundance of 'free time,' my father thoughtfully provided me with watercolors, pencils, brushes, and papers. It was during those two weeks of recovery that I discovered my passion for art. Encouraged by this newfound love, I ventured into high school art contests, participating in seven and securing five wins. My favorite subjects to paint are landscapes and wildlife in oil, where I always strive to capture the loose brushstrokes reminiscent of impressionism, making each art piece a unique individual (which is quite challenging, by the way). I also work extensively with portraits, primarily in charcoal and graphite. Currently, I am eager to delve deeper into the subjects of the 'Los Andes' Mountains and the wildlife of the Galápagos.
