ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This little painting is part of my Little Gems Series of paintings, many of which were made in front of a workshop group to illustrate a concept or technique. Inspired by practice, they are a joy to create and share with you here! I entitled this painting 'Take it Away' because there are two other little paintings adjoining this piece and in their creation I actually took away the currogated cardboard and left open white space. I loved how this looked! So I kept it and it also inspired the name!
