I am fascinated by the presentation of opposites, exploring the effects of light and shadow or integrating contrasting shapes, forms and structures. The interrelationship between conceptual thinking and spontaneous inspiration leads to the crossing of boundaries and merging of mediums, styles, and methods.Leaving the two-dimensionality of the canvas by combining paint with a variety of materials such as paper, sand, or nails stimulates receptive and critical contemplation the geometry of the plane encounters the challenge of a third dimension.
