ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The full sun falling on the garden of an oriental temple, glows the red leaves as they fall to the ground. I used a painterly style with this composition to produce an impressionistic riot of colour and light. Portrayed on a stretched standard canvas with all the edges painted so that you can hang it without a frame. A hanging cord is fixed to the back of the stretchers.

I was born into a family of practicing artists with the smell of paint and pencils wafting through the house. I was trained as a carpet designer, attending art college for three years part time while being mentored by an experienced designer in the studio of the company I was apprenticed to. The basic training was that of any fine artist and I have always painted. Most of my paintings are based on sketches and photographs that I have made of people, places and things. I have sold paintings through out the UK, USA and Saudi Arabia. I have exhibited at the Birmingham Open, Harris Brush Works and The Malvern Theatres in England. I hope you like my paintings.
