About The Artwork

"Thanocentrism" (painting with Augmented Reality XR Technology) Traveling around the world I wondered everywhere about the diversity of views on the eternity of human existence. I found inspiration in the book "The Human Predicament: Its Changing Image: A Study in Comparative Religion and History" from Jaroslav Krejci, then prompted me to transfer these meanings to the canvas with using digital technology known as Augmented Reality. This inspired me to create pentaptychon showing of five main changing images of human destiny. This part of pentaptychon Thanocentrism shows the grounded sense of life and death in Ancient Egypt, when the goal of the human life is focused on the preparing to the real eternal life through the provisional transition (death), resp. dead-centered view of human predicament. XR digital part of this artwork works via Artivive App (free for downloading from Apple Store & Google Play).
