About The Artwork

The story: A small group of humans are looking for a new place to colonize when word comes in that a prospect has been discovered. It is a small planet that up to this time was thought to be a moon, and had been named the 13th moon. The path and orbit of this moon has kept it in the way of small meteors causing craters on the bright side, but on the twilight areas on the leeward side, it is stable enough to provide shelter from nearby radiation and small impacts. Plans are already underway to enhance the atmosphere and start foundations for housing structures. Optimism runs high as it usually does in the early stages of an immense project like this one. 24"x 60" x 1 3/8" deep ( 1 -24” x 36”, 2 -12” x 24” pcs.) hand stretched gallery quality canvas. Original acrylic fine art painting, hand painted and clear coated with archival artists varnish for protection against dust and abrasion. The painting extends around the edges providing a very elegant look making no need for a frame. Besides, abstract artwork does not need a frame. Just hang it and enjoy! Note: This painting is best viewed with lighting because of the dark field background. Track lighting is the most flexible way to light art. Daylight bulbs are best. Also, this painting is clear coated with a special matte finish archival artists varnish to enhance the depth of color and reduce glare.

Creative abstract art paintings by Randall Marmet. I am a self taught artist. My art is a combination of adventure, exploration, bravery, rebellion, and independence. My taste in art swings wildly on inspiration that comes by subtle means and other times by storm. Although true abstract has no subject, I like to make a focal point for the eye. I also like to use dynamic and harmonious colors for a welcoming effect rather than a clash. I strive to create art that evokes an emotion not just decoration.
