The Bay Painting

Andy Shackleton was born in Manchester and spent his formative years in the city. He developed a passion for painting once loved buildings teetering on the edge of survival in an ever evolving city. Later years spent in Edinburgh and Glasgow provided a rich and varied backdrop for his work,his paintings attempting to capture the ‘quiet glamour’ of the buildings and people. Now living in the historic city of Lancaster his work often incorporates a vintage/retro theme in tune with the city and coastal landscapes.
