ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Painting on paper during the pandemic was the best way for me to work during a stretch of several weeks when I chose to remain at home, under lockdown. With more widely reported police-brutality related deaths, my piece stood out in its depiction of a predator locking into its prey. Whether this is related to actual violence between civilians and injustice within the police force, or if the implications of media versus the freedom of thought- is the viewer's decision!
