ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This is a painting inspired from finding something amazingly good from something amazingly bad! Some years ago two drunken men attacked my friend and I, completely unprovoked. I was bashed severely and at a moment when I left this realm, I had the experience of finding myself turning into a tree! This was a moment that I will cherish as it was pure bliss amongst the chaos and fury that was thrust apon myself and my dear friend. We are now in fine form! So this piece embraces the possibility of life affirming change even when it is derived from such circumstances.
