Need more information?

I am interested in certain images from which I can extract relevant information. It wouldn't make sense for me to make a total abstraction, or something clearly recognizable. I think it is important to maintain a geometric or structural remnant that promotes the sensation of remembering something, a visual construction to decipher or understand. Horror vacui generated by the influence of Tapestry Art, ceramics, mosaics, heraldic shields or Japanese prints into the context of hypertext painting let me play with the white background of the paper or canvas that acts as a context between the spontaneity of the brushstrokes. On a practical level, I am interested in superimposing, skewing the information in the image, placing tension on the margin or playing with color through pictorial exercises of freedom. Armando Rabadán has received recognition around the world. He exhibited individually in Hong Kong with Ap Contemporary Gallery and he has participated at Contemporary Istanbul Art Fair with Mixer gallery and exhibited at the private Museum of Contemporary Art Elgiz.
