ABOUT THE ARTWORK

$1,250.00Price Jabal al-Nour translates to “Mountain of Light.” Prophet Muhammad (may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) received his first revelation from Allah (the Glorified and Exalted) through Angel Jibreel (Gabriel) in the Hira cave which is on this mountain. Prophet Muhammad (may the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) used to climb this mountain often even before receiving his fist revelation from Allah (the Glorified and Exalted). This painting was inspired by the beauty of Jabal al Nour and the tremendous message Allah Subhanawatallah sent down to mankind. The verse circling the highest peak of the mountain, written in 24k gold ink reads: قُلْ إِنَّمَا أَنَا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ يُوحَى إِلَيَّ أَنَّمَا إِلَهُكُمْ إِلَهٌ وَاحِدٌ فَمَن كَانَ يَرْجُو لِقَاء رَبِّهِ فَلْيَعْمَلْ عَمَلًا صَالِحًا وَلَا يُشْرِكْ بِعِبَادَةِ رَبِّهِ أَحَدًا ﴿١١٠﴾ “Say: "I am but a man like you, (but) the inspiration has come to me, that your God is one Allah: whoever expects to meet his Lord, let him work righteousness, and, in the worship of his Lord, admit no one as partner.” (Surah Kahf) This painting measures 30x40 inches.
