About The Artwork

A small oil pastel painting on Kraton embroidered with a paspartou and frame. Coolness of the sea. This painting was done in the nature by the sea during my vacation in Montenegro. The bright colors and landscapes of this country stimulate my artistic imagination a lot, and I have painted several pictures in a similar style. The painting is small and was painted in a mixed technique of oil pastel and ink. The painting is painted and decorated with a pasparte. The size of the painting 20/20/0,3 The size of the passepartout 30/30/0,4 The picture without a frame but in a passe-partout is significantly reduced in price. Sending a heavy frame with glass and the frame itself requires stronger and correspondingly more expensive packaging. Before shipping, the picture will be safely and beautifully packed and sent to the buyer by insured mail.

Ellen Frischbutter, Germany, Leipzig. Since childhood I loved to draw, drew well and watched with pleasure how my father drew, he was not a painter, but perfectly drew with pencil and oil paints. In life I chose the profession of a psychologist, but that choice has led me to creativity. Doing art therapy with clients, watching the whimsical flow of paint, I found myself wanting to paint everything from ethereal dreams, real objects to fantastical, imaginary subjects and dreams. I fell in love with painting, attended various painting courses and once I felt the freedom to move on canvas I like to paint in different techniques and on different subjects. My artist pseudonym is Frilen
