ABOUT THE ARTWORK
My inspiration comes from seeing the cultural dances and ceremonies of the Native Americans in Santa Fe , NM. I am also influenced by painter/artist John Nieto. This painting is from my imagination when I think of the Elder native Americans gathering at their Pueblo for a meeting. To me the work has a sense of mystery, as do all of my Elder paintings. This is #5.
