The Eyes of Truth is a work in oil on canvas expressing the longings of living and dying. I’m exploring spiritual seeing beyond death and traveling through inter dimensional gateways into the unknown beyond. The undiscovered country we all eventually journey to through death. The elements of spiritualist symbolism combined with the abstract expression of nature in the piece all work on the psyche to bring the mind into a deep reflection upon the nature of reality, life, and death. Solitarily asleep I thought although not sleeping Hearing the crescendo of angelic voices singing An obsidian dimensional doorway descends Awestruck horror sets in floating away into darkness A hand reaches out grabbing mine Pulling me through into another dimension Inside a ball of lightning Traveling unaffected by elements Angelic bright eyes staring into mine Startled in fear thinking l’m dead Soothing voice speaks to my mind Be not afraid; as thoughts of flight turn into joy Contemplating we elevates skyward Mysteriously burning letting Terra go A masterpiece of throbbing passions Exquisite desires completely satiated Beaming elation in a rapturous fire Growing increasing in brightness within Shining spritely exuding pleasure Enveloping in an infinite ecstasy Continues flying on interweaving webs of eternity Crying aloud in this heaven of erotic bliss Years of time pass away in a dream state Galaxies begin evolve and diminish The whole of the universe unveils itself Then weightlessness becoming aware The self again reborn I am Startled by seeing my quivering reflection A sublime vision of beauty Vanishing in a flash of divine light
