The Fall of the Rebel Angels Painting

I created this abstract in a sort of trance all in one sitting, inspired by the energy and movement of Rubens' The Fall of the Rebel Angels. I mirrored the flow of bodies in his monumental painting, but imbued it with an energy all my own. The blurs of the kinetic lines criss-crossing the piece makes the meaning of this piece ambiguous and perhaps universal. I retained the original title of Rubens' piece, but I believe that the lack of specific details allows the viewer to impart any subject or story they wish upon this painting. The interpretations are limitless.
