The falling night sky Painting

I painted this piece of artwork when I was feeling very low. I really had a low self esteem at that point and just wanted to escape from reality and be somewhere alone. However, firstly I painted the canvas all black and I realized how blank it was. Then I started putting some colors which seem like Northern Lights. I then painted the clouds, mountains, trees and so on. After completing the piece, I didn't realized how my sorrows initially painted in black became colorful and full of hope. I love painting Skies and Scenery because they are the source of happiness and tranquility. This is the first painting I painted on canvas instead of paper to make it more solid and permanent. You can frame it and hang it on your wall and it might give you comfort like it gives to me. So, in short, I am sharing my piece of comfort with you. Love and Comfort from India! -- Diksha Bhasin
