CAROLA PASCHOLD contemporary art Carola Paschold is a german contemporary painter, who lives and works in Düsseldorf, Germany. The idea underlying her work reveals something new that can be attributed to the postmoderne and the conception of the relationship between painting and photography. Formally, she uses design resources which – if one looks for comparison – lead to the new POP ART. Paschold’s works have always impressed with their compositional self-performance and craftsmanship perfectionism. Carola Paschold works, thinks and feels at the pulse of time. All the works are free-hand – yes, partly on the basis of photographic templates, but never out of the photoprint. The idea underlying Paschold’s work reveals something new that can be attributed to Postmoderne and the conception of the relationship between painting and photography. Her paintings counteracts photorealistic painting, as Paschold breaks the illusionistic function of the representation of reality with the means of painting and alienates and abstracts it in her current works. This creates an autonomous reality of the image. In Carola Paschold’s new NY works, compositional performance is gaining more and more weight. Her work, the time of the day is pure and testimony to the fast-paced life of our time. Her new work reflects the fascination that NY can have on people. They show the creativity, dynamism and above all the energy that is felt in this city. Formally, it uses design resources which, when looking for the comparison, lead to the new POP ART. At the same time, however, there are also influences of street art. But the bottom line is that this is Carola Paschold’s own style, a distinctive, individual and individual artistic expression. Dr. Klaudia Nebelin Portrait XXL When Anna with pink-colored hair and lip piercing appears to the elitist Abi ball, is the expression of a whole generation. When people meet in Facebook, Twitter and co, it is the way of life today. It is alive, fast and full of visual impressions. Carola Paschold is fascinated by the manifestations of our time. She senses the flood of ever-changing impressions, watching the media and advertising, listening to the latest music, watching the latest films, clicking through the net and taking part in the lifeworlds of her young daughters. She is always on the lookout for expressive people, who convey the feeling of being authentic.
