Alexander Levich’s "The Game" is a breathtaking oil painting that masterfully captures the thrill and energy of a group of riders galloping across a vibrant green meadow. This extra-large artwork, measuring 152x230 cm, showcases Levich’s exceptional ability to depict motion and emotion through his brushwork. The blurred bright blue lines and the vivid green background create a sense of speed and fluidity, drawing the viewer into the exhilarating scene. Levich’s profound understanding of horses and their historical significance is beautifully reflected in this piece. The detailed rendering of each horse’s form and movement conveys their power, grace, and intelligence, qualities that have made them symbols of strength and freedom for centuries. The riders, depicted in mid-gallop, add to the dynamic composition, their attire and postures enhancing the overall sense of action and excitement. Inspired by his love for horses and the rich tradition of equine art, Levich brings a contemporary touch to this classic theme. The large format of "The Game" allows for an immersive experience, making it a perfect focal point for any spacious room, office, or gallery. What is the most important thing in life? It's not the external surroundings but our inner world. Painting serves as the key that unlocks this realm. By following this path, one learns not just to look, but to truly SEE. Through my art, I delve into profound content. Painting becomes a medium of communication, a canvas for thoughts. The questions are always deeper than the answers, and the answers are discoveries we make within ourselves. My paintings serve as guides, leading you along the pathways of your own thoughts. I aim to offer you the joy of connecting with your inner world, the luxury of harmony and solitude in communication with yourself. I was born in 1963 in Kyiv, Ukraine, and in 1987, I graduated from the painting faculty of the Kyiv Art Academy, under the guidance of Professor A.M. Lopukhov. Since 1990, I have been a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. As a professional artist with over 30 years of experience, my artistic journey can be divided into two main periods. The first period, which spanned over 20 years after my graduation, can be described as "Metarealism." The second period, which I refer to as my "return to realism," began around 2010, you may explore my artworks from both periods showcased here. If you would like to delve deeper into my portfolio, view additional paintings beyond those displayed on this website, or if you have any questions or comments, please feel free to contact me directly via email at . You are also warmly welcome to visit my studio in Kyiv. Thank you sincerely for your interest.
